Who influenced / inspired you to priesthood? I've been blessed to know many holy priests who have led me to discern my own vocation: Monsignor Ingham, Father John De Guzman, my brother, Father Leo Dornan, C.O., to name a few. My high school's headmaster, Deacon Brad Watkins, gave me great advice and encouragement as well. My family have also helped me tremendously and support me in my discernment.
What would you say to a young man who thinks he may have a vocation? Listen to God's voice in prayer and seek the advice of others. Remain open to whatever God might ask of you and act when He calls.
Favorite scripture passages: "Do whatever He tells you." John 2:5 and "I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-3
Favorite saints: The Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Benedict, St. John Henry Newman, and St. Philip Neri.
