- Seasons of Hope, Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, Raleigh – 6-week program, which offers the grieving person an opportunity to find healing and spiritual growth with the support of a faith community. - St. Mark, Wilmington offers grief support throughout the year. “Grieving with Hope” is a Catholic based program that meets bi-weekly on Wednesday evening. For exact dates and details, contact deacon.jolly@stmarkcc.net, or call 910-297-4875.
- Seasons of Hope, St. Thomas More, Chapel Hill – Grief group support consisting of 6 sessions occurring 2-3 times per year
- Sacred Heart Bereavement Ministry, Fayetteville* – 6-week grief support program and luncheons every 2-3 months
- St. Raphael Grief Support Group, Raleigh* – Bereavement support with guest speakers and monthly social luncheons; contact Connie Reynolds, 410-903-2677.
- Coffee and Conversation Grief Support, St. Andrew Catholic Church, Apex – A blend of sharing, social time, and topics in grief, this group provides a safe and encouraging place to receive support from others who know what it is like to lose someone you love. Contact grief@saintandrew.org.
- St. Patrick Catholic Church Grief Support, Fayetteville – Grief support from 13 week video series
- Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi Bereavement Series and Monthly Support Group: Good Grief, Raleigh – 8-week grief group support series and a monthly support group
- St. Michael the Archangel, Cary – 8-week grief support program offered 2 times a year.
- Eternal Rest - Four 30-minute episodes address large-scale questions about death from a Catholic perspective. The series takes viewers on a journey from death’s origin to Christ’s final victory at the Cross and Resurrection.
