Five Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind., with ties to the Diocese of Raleigh are celebrating jubilees this year. A jubilee is the anniversary of when a sister entered or professed vows in her religious community. We have a big celebration each year for sisters celebrating their 25th (silver jubilee), 50th (golden jubilee), 60th - 75th (diamond jubilee) anniversaries. The jubilee is an opportunity to gather and celebrate our sisters and their life together. We are grateful to each of the religious sisters for the commitment, dedication, and love of service to the mission of Jesus Christ.
