An Update on Abortion From North Carolina to the Nation Facilitator: Susan Bane, MD, PhD; aka Dr. Pink Glasses Dinner: 5:00 p.m. No cost to attend. Please RSVP for dinner no later than 9/28: welovemoms2@gmail.com. Speaker and Q & A : 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. High school age and older are welcome! Let’s start with an honest conversation. Let’s make sure we understand what an abortion is and what it is not. Let’s make sure we understand why women choose abortion. Let’s make sure we understand the current state of abortion both in North Carolina and across our nation. Let’s examine the role we, the Church, can play in caring for both women and their pre-born children. Women often come to pregnancy centers scared, alone, coerced, and confused. They don't want to end the life of their child but feel they have no other choice because of their circumstances. We, the Church, are called to help change their circumstances! Together, let's recapture the beauty of our mission as Catholics and protect the sanctity of life of women and their pre-born children. Questions? Email Janet Oehl at welovemoms2@gmail.com.
