Substitute Teacher

St. Mark is a Catholic school in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Substitute Teacher. • Ability to follow lesson plans as supplied by the teacher

• Maintains a positive mindset toward student learning, teaching practice, and personal/collective professional development.
• Operates effectively within established learning frameworks and has faith in their students' potential to succeed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A college degree is required. 
• Minimum of 1 Year Classroom Experience
• Previous experience teaching is a plus
• Candidates must attend Safe Environment Training and complete a background check. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working familiarity with assistive technologies; internet and email systems; and word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software
• Positive classroom management skills, a collaborative personality and upbeat attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent oral and written communication skills are among the desired attributes.
