Position Summary:

Cardinal Gibbons High School is seeking a passionate, experienced, and mission-driven Head Women’s Basketball Coach to lead and grow our women’s basketball program. This individual will be responsible for all facets of the program including coaching, skill development, practice and game planning, team culture building, and overall program administration. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, competitive, and character-driven environment that reflects the values of the school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the women’s basketball program.
  • Develop and implement effective practice plans and game strategies.
  • Create a culture of accountability, sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Mentor and support student-athletes in their academic and athletic journeys.
  • Identify and develop individual and team basketball skills.
  • Ensure full compliance with school, conference, and state athletic regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with school administration, fellow coaches, and parents to promote the overall success of student-athletes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong commitment to the mission and values of Cardinal Gibbons High School.
  • Ability to inspire and develop student-athletes both on and off the court.
